|Bill used to work as a tour guide on the islands and volunteered to show us around. His tour included showing us the best way to pet a slug.
|He took us on a walk in the forest with Dave’s niece, known as Shark. We were impressed by this twisted tree.
|Some of the trees are so large that you can walk through cracks in their trunk. Well – if you are small like Beth and Shark.
|The high level of rainfall provides ideal conditions for mushrooms which are everywhere. Some, like this one, grow directly from the tree trunks.
|We also got to see some marine life like this colourful, giant starfish.
