Cities and Churches    
The clock on the bell tower in Comayagua is thought to be the oldest in the Americas. It displays the old fashioned Roman numeral IIII rather than IV.
The towns colonial past is evident in many of its buildings.
The capital city, Tegucigalpa, is surrounded by a ring of mountains. We cycled almost a complete circuit of the ring road in our attempts to find the road into the centre.
