Christmas |
We spent Christmas in Loreto, a coastal town in Southern Baja. This is a view over the main square from a rooftop bar. |
We went to mass on Christmas Eve in a church so crowded that people were spilling out of the back onto the streets. |
After mass we went on to some local parties. Highlights included hitting the piņata (a colourful ball filled with sweets hit with a stick whilst blindfolded) and a home made water bomb set to explode at midnight. |
A lorry driver's Christmas decoration. |
Another of Beth's friends from the place we stayed in over Christmas. She didn't have a name so Louie named her 'Navidad' which means Christmas in Spanish. |
A lonely boat on Christmas Day. |
