Meziadin Junction
Close to the end of the Stewart–Cassiar Highway is Meziadin Junction. We camped beside a lake where we met a very welcoming campsite warden - John.
We had a day off to clean and dry our clothes and bags. Jeremy dried the shoes over a fire.
There was a family of black bears frequenting the upper part of the campsite. John showed us his bear trap that he would use if they became troublesome.
He took us to Stewart for the day to see the beautiful salmon and bear glaciers. Bear glacier calves icebergs into the lake below.
The view later when the mist had lifted.
