The Old and the New Capital Cities    
Antigua Guatemala means 'Old Guatemala' - the old capital city.  It is a lovely colonial city in a landscape dominated by three volcanoes, a popular destination for foreign tourists and for Guatemalans at the weekends.
Most of the buildings are painted yellow, terracotta or white.
